Visits to Our Website and Server Log Data

When you visit our website, technically necessary data is processed to make the website available and to ensure its secure and stable operation.

In particular, the following data may be processed: IP address, date and time of access, page or file accessed, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, and technical status information.

This processing is based on our legitimate interest, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, in the secure and functional operation of our website.

Server log data is stored only for as long as is necessary for technical operation, error analysis, and ensuring security. To the extent that service providers are used for hosting or technical operation, they process this data on our behalf or in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies.

Technically essential cookies may be used without consent to the extent that they are necessary for providing the website or a service you have expressly requested.

Any cookies or similar access to your device beyond this scope will only be used if you have given your prior consent. The legal basis in this case is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR in conjunction with Section 165(3) of the TKG 2021.

You may change or withdraw your consent at any time via the privacy settings provided on the website. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point.

Consent Management with consentmanager

To manage your consents, we use the consent management platform “consentmanager” provided by consentmanager AB, Haltegelvägen 1b, 72348 Västerås, Sweden.

consentmanager allows you to consent to or reject the use of certain services, cookies, and similar technologies, as well as to change decisions you have already made at a later time.

In particular, information regarding your consent decision and the device you are using is processed. Technically necessary information is stored on your device so that your selections can be taken into account and documented.

This processing is carried out to fulfill our legal obligations regarding the collection and documentation of consent, as well as based on our legitimate interest in managing your privacy settings in compliance with the law.

Your selections made on this website are generally stored for up to 365 days. You can change or revoke your decision at any time via the privacy settings icon available on the website.

External Media and Video Content

Videos and other media content may be provided on our website via external providers.

For videos, we specifically use JW Player from JWP, Inc., 530 7th Avenue, Suite 1906, New York, NY 10018, USA.

When loading such content, technical data such as your IP address, browser information, device information, and information about your use of the player may be processed. JW Player may also use other technical service providers for this purpose.

The relevant content is loaded only if you have consented to the corresponding category in the consent management system. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

YouTube

Videos from the YouTube service may be embedded on certain pages. The provider for users in the European Economic Area is generally Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

YouTube content is not loaded on our website until you have consented to its use via our privacy settings.

When a video is loaded, your IP address, device and browser information, as well as information regarding the retrieval and use of the video, may be transmitted to Google. If you are logged in to Google, this information may be associated with your user account.

The legal basis for this integration is your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You may revoke your consent at any time via the privacy settings.

Statistics, Schedule, and Results Data

To display tables, schedules, player and team statistics, and other sports-related data, we use technical services provided by our statistics provider:

eSports.cz s.r.o.
, Prvního pluku 8A
, 186 00 Prague 8
, Czech Republic

When accessing this content, your device’s IP address, in particular, may be transmitted to the servers necessary for providing the data for technical reasons.

The technical infrastructure of the statistics service may, among other things, use services from infrastructure and CDN providers such as Cloudflare or Amazon Web Services.

Processing is carried out, to the extent necessary for the provision of the statistics, schedule, and results information you have accessed, on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR in providing this content.

Cookies or tracking functions that are not technically necessary are not used without prior consent.

External Links and Social Media

Our website contains links to external websites as well as to our profiles on social networks and other platforms.

A link alone does not result in data being transferred to the respective provider. Only when you click on an external link do you leave our website, and the respective provider may then process data about your visit.

This applies, for example, to links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, as well as to program, ticket, partner, and sponsor websites.

The respective operator is responsible for the further processing of personal data on these external websites.

Contacting Us

If you contact us via email, a contact form, or other provided contact options, we process the data you submit solely to handle your inquiry and for any follow-up questions.

The legal basis depends on the content of your inquiry. For contract-related inquiries, this is specifically Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR; in other cases, it is our legitimate interest in processing your inquiry pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and there are no legal retention obligations or other legitimate reasons for further storage.

Web Analytics with Matomo

We use the web analytics service Matomo to statistically analyze the use of our website. Matomo is open-source software for analyzing visitor traffic and is operated by us at analytics.ice.hockey.

Matomo is loaded on our website only if you have previously consented to its use for the purpose of “measurement” via our consent management system. Without this consent, neither tracking requests are sent to Matomo nor are Matomo cookies set on your device.

As part of web analytics, information processed may include, in particular, details about the pages visited, the time and duration of the visit, the source of the visit, the browser used, the operating system, the device type, and technical information regarding the access.

Once consent has been granted, Matomo uses, in particular, so-called first-party cookies. These include, in particular:

  • _pk_id: used to recognize a returning visitor; the default storage period is up to 13 months.
  • _pk_ses: used to assign individual actions to a session during a visit; the default storage period is 30 minutes.

The analytics data collected by Matomo is processed via our own Matomo instance. Since we operate our own Matomo installation, the analytics data is not shared with the provider of the Matomo software.

The legal basis for the processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 165(3) TKG 2021.

You may change or revoke your consent at any time with future effect via the privacy settings available on our website. Once you revoke your consent, Matomo will no longer be loaded when you visit the site.

For more information about Matomo, visit matomo.org/privacy-policy.

Your Rights

Provided that the respective legal requirements are met, you have, in particular, the right to access the personal data we process, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object to certain processing activities.

You may revoke any consent you have given at any time with future effect.

To exercise your rights, please contact the data protection officer listed above.
